Wamathai Spoken Word ~ October Edition

Wamathai.com presents Wamathai Spoken Word – October Edition on the 7th of October 2010 from 7PM – 10 PM at Secrets Lounge (Ground Floor, View Park Towers. Utalii lane, Nairobi). An entrance fee of Kshs. 150 will be charged at the door.

The event will be hosted by Afro fusion Singer & songwriter Dela and will feature poetry performances, the reading of poems in support of breast cancer awareness month by Chiira MainaJames Ochweri & Robert Kunga and music by Afrology the Band and Pozi & Mbaluka.

There will be a screening of the short film ‘Trance’ by Zippy Kimundu.

The charity we shall be supporting this month is Sitawa Wafula’s Campaign for sanitary towels for disadvantaged girls.
